STORMY MEETING AT MELBOURNE. Melbourne, August 18. There wag a stormy meeting of seamen, at which the extremists attempted to regain control. It was decided to support whatever decision was reached by the Sydney branch.—Priss Assn. NON-UNION CREWS BLACKLISTED. Brisbane, August 18. The seamen, firemen, and waterside workers have black-listed all vessels manned by non-union crews— Press Assn. NO CHANGE IN THE SITUATION. (Rec. August 18, 8.30 p.m.) Sydney, August 18. The strike position is -unchanged. Senator Millen's reply to tho seamen is considered to bo unsatisfactory, 'but the Victorian seamen believe that the end is in sight.—Press Assn.
