An amendment of the coal trade regulations provides that it shall not be lawful for any person to deliver or be concerned in tho delivery of ony bituminous or semi-bituminous coal to any person in any area in which these regulations are ill force, unless at the same time he delivers to that person an equal quantity by weight, of lignite, or such other proportion of lignite os the Minister ill Chargo may specify with rcspccl to that area. Tho regulations do not. apply to any coal delivered pursuant to a permit issued by a'coal trade committee. Tho regulations liavo been extended to include tho centres of Christchiwch and Dunediu and the surrounding borough# n.nd wiunt.tefl - ■ _ .
