A Bill has been introduced in tho Federal llouso of Representatives to amend the Immigration Act It prohibits entry into tho Commonwealth of 'any porson. who advocates tho overthrow by force of the Government of any civilised country, and also prohibits the entry of Germans, Austrian-Germans, Bulgarians. Hungarians, and Turks, for a period or five years. Power is given to deport any person, of foreign birth convicted in. the Commonwealth of an offence punishable by imprisonment for one year or longer.' —Press Assn.
