BRITISH INFLUENCE TO BE DOMINANT. London, August 15. An Anglo-Persian agreement lias been signed, under which British influence becomes dominant in Persia.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn. FOREIGN INTRIGUES ELIMINATED. (Rec. August 17, 5.5 p.m.) v London, August 15. 'It is officially stated that Britain will lend Persia two millions sterling, and will supply exports to assist in internal reconstruction. British political and trade interests are protected, and foreign intrigues eliminated.—"Tho Times."-
