RESPONSE TO ADDRESS OF WELCOME. (Rec. August 18, 0.5 a.m.) Ottawa, August 15. The Prince ,of Wales landed at St. John (New Bi'unswick). The crowded streets wero gaily decorated. Responding to an address of welcome the Prince alluded to St. John as ;i city of loyalists. Ho referred to their war service with the Canadians. Comradeship in tho field was the surest read to understanding between portions of the Empire.
