A general .meeting of ths Returned Soldiers' Association last night passed the following resolutions unanimously;— "That thie association decides not to adopt tho political platform put forward by the Provincial Committee, and'considers that it would be ■ detrimental to the interests, aims, and objects of the association to take part in politics." "That this association • urges upon the Minister the necessity', for appointing a Royal Commission to'inquire,into tho administration of the' funds raised for patriotic purposes, and to the ultimate disposal of the fundß in hand, tho liquidation of assets, and also the necessity for a uniform policv to bo laid down for final disposal of fund?.'"
