Sir,—During last.nighf s journey of th'i "Mapquerrika" from Blenheim, some excellent talent on board gave an enjoyable little concert in aid or a destitute family" in the steerage. The amount raised was Is. lid,. Will you kindly. forward same to the companv? Thanking you, THE SUFFERERS. August 13. rAccompanyinz the letter was a collet, linn of 23 pennies. The humour of this littta presentation might not appeal to the officials of the shipping company concorned, but no doubt the hint conveyed will serve the cud "The Sufferers" had in view. The pennies meantime are .in embarrassment to our accounting department.!
