' Sir Edward Richard Russell (tho editor of the Liverpool "Daily Post") to be a Baron. William Hall Walker, M.P. for Widnos end a notable sportsman, who owned and bred Minora, which won (ho Derby for King Edward VII. and in 101G presented his stud of' racehorses to the nation to shirt a national stud, to ho a Baron. Mr. Joynson Hicks, M.P., to bo a Baronet. Mr. Julian Orde, secretary of tho Automobile Club, in recognition of his services on behalf of oversea soldiers, to be a Knight.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
