The Returned- Soldiers and Sailors' League asked for tho abolition of all Lutheran Churches and schools in Victoria. Tho Premier, Mr. Lawson, replied that Hie subject had been fully considered, and the Government had decided that it would .bo against British tradition to interfere with native-born subjects in tho matter of religion and conscience. If specific instances that these schools were' hotbeds of disloyalty wore forthcoming they' would bo dealt with.—Press Assn.
