DOMINION'S POPULATION
THE LATEST FIGURES.
The arrivals in Now Zealand during the month of July exceeded the departures by 770, as against 55 for tho corresponding month of last year. These figures do not include members of tha Expeditionary Force. Of the adult persons who arrived during the month, 80 males -mid. 001 females came from the United Kingdom, and 409 males and 247 females from Australia.
The estimut' ' population of New Zea. land oil Juno 30, 1919, exclusive of Maoris and residents of tho island de. pendencies, was 1,139,014. The addition of the Maoris and tho natives of tho i&* lands brings the total to 1,201,587.
