BETTER WEATHER
The. Meteorological Department'.-) forecast last night promised an improve-ment-in the weather. Present indications uro for variable breezes north of New Plymouth and Napier, with southerlios prevailing, and strong and squally westerly wiud.-i elsewhere. Fair weather may bo expected in the East Coast districts, but cloudy and unsettled elsewhere, with' ram in the western districts.
