THE WEATHER
— FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications arc lor variable breezes northward of. Xow Plymouth and Napier, with southerly provnilins ' and strong and equally westerly winds elsewhere. Expect fair weather in the east coast districts, but cloudy and unsettled conditions at times elsewhere, with rain in the western districts. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency in the south. Pair weather prevailed generally, on Sat urday, with strong westerlies in and southward of Oool: Strait, but foutherly winds on Sunday brought unsettled conditions and rain in many parte.
