ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
Ky TolceraDh—l'r»6f Afnor.iatlnn. Oamaru, August 9. Gordon Patterson, aged 18 yearns, a resident of Waiimkaraa, wliilo riding a motor-cycle a.t Hillgrove yesterday, collided with a. horse and trap. His injuries proved fatal. John Meikle, koii., of Mawewhonua, and Frank Christian, of Livingstone, were injured by a fall of earth in their respective mining claims. The lormer suffered injuries to his ribs and on ankle, and the latter to his head. Christian is still unconscious.
