VON BERNHARDI PROPHESIES By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyrJcbt New York, August 2. Tho New York "World's" correspondent at Berlin interviewed von Bernhardi, who prophesied another war. Ho said that lie considered it right for England and France to iuilict the severest terms upon Germany, because this was the only war to ensure themselves against tho Teuton peril. Ho said Germany might not keup her obligations, thus making a new war necessary, He added that the Kaiser should not be blamed for tho war; ho Should bo blamed only for not declaring war soonor. Yon Bernhardi does not think the League of Nations will end wars, bccauso the interests of States will alwavs outweigh ideals. Ho saiil tho German nation will again rise, and that tho more hate and rovengo manifested towards Germany now, tho sooner and moro violent will be tho reaction—Aus.N.Z. Gable Assn. .
