MEETING OF CREDITORS
The meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Alexander Sutherland, motor engineer, which was set down for hearing yesterday, was adjourned sine die, as there was no quorum, ihe official assignee (Mr. Tanscy), however, examined the bankrupt, who stated that lie got into arrears during tho ejndeniic when ho' was for'six weeks out ot work, and following on that he sustained an injuw to his right hand which further incapacitated him. The unsecured creditors were: Odlin and Co., timber merchants, -822; Boucher and Co., cycle manufacturers, <£45; L. Reynolds and Co., imiwrters, 432, and George and George, drapers, 417. In addition there were six other unsecured creditors representing 4„S 18s- «*■> making a total ot 4145 I®2d. The only secured creditor was To Aro Loan Company, 4120 on furniture. The bankrupt was a married man with four children, and was at present out of work, due to. the absence of necessary materials owing to the strike in Australia. _____
