A meeting of the Wellington. P.ugb} Football Leoffiia was.held fest evening. Hawke's Bay wrote asking Wellington to reconsider its decision regarding a match nt Hawke's Bay. It was decided to .await n, reply from the New Zealand Council before replying. Canterbury telegraphed stating that they would be prepared to visit Wellington on Saturday, August 9. The secretary .reported that the .Basin E«seiTO had been allotted for an Association game, and they had already lwd tickets printed and issued for their match, so therefore found it impossible to.postpone their game. Under the cireumstanuKs it was cteoided to telegraph Canterbury asking I hem to visit Wellington on August 23, tho Basin Reserve having been secured for that Saturday. The following fixtures wore drawn for Saturday:— Senior—Petone A v. Athletic, at Petone, at 2.30, leforee Mr. Murphy; Petone 13 v. Suburbs, nt Newtown Park, referee Mr. House. v. Athletic, at Petone, at 1.30, referee Mr. Evans. The Athletic senior team to meet Petone A is:—Bradley, Bramley, Moss, Jlears. Morris, ]?vans t Wilson, Pollock, Tetle.v, Murphy, Weavjr, Larsen, Pheffer. Mills, Dawe. The Athletic junior team to play Pelone is:—Wallis, Homer, Smith, Gibson, Moss, Tetloy, Andrews, Anderson, Davideon. Nelson, Lind, Wareun, Miicauley. The following is the Petone Senior B team for to-morrowDuncan, Fraser, Bell, l'ord. Gay, Chudlcigh, Guthrie; Hording. Stubbersfiold, Brennon, Crawford, Bdlin, Te Puni, Blacker, Kotua, and Wilson.
