Iho sentiments exproiaed by the general secretary of the Federated Seamen's Linon (Mr. Walsh) in Melbourne has round littlo support among his Sydney brethren In fact, so keen is the resentment of his "lactless militancy," as one member recently called, it, that there is talk- of forming a nev union. Tho samo attitude prevails among prominent memobM of the Labour movement, who beheyo that the dispute cannot be won oy tno adoption of such tactics. A Labour member of Parliament contended that such talk would do the Labour' movement much harm. "We stand f'v arbitration," he said, "and not revolution.
