.*- . FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT i P.M. YESTERDAY, Present indications are for southerly winds, strong and Bqually, in and northwards of Cook Strait, changing to westerlies shortly afterwards. Weather cold and changeable, with passing Bhowers, especially in tho northern and eastern districts, Jinromoter rise iu the north and fall soon in the south. Barometric pressure has continued low in the northern districts, and southerly winds have prevailed, niodevato to strong and squally at tinicß.
