Hill, tho ex-four iniio champion, ran a great race in rho first halfmile. Mason winning by a very narrow margin in tho fast timo of Imin. ,15 2-ssec. Hill put up nnother good pen'ormanco in tho lialf-milo scratch, in which' he beat G. P. Sweot by 5 yards in 2niin. -3-sscc. Tho Polytechnic runner 11. Kdwards aecomplislied a lino double in the 100 and 300 yards handicaps, his >imo for the sprint, 0 l-ssoc, off 5 yards, boing decidedly fast.
