The British Museum has acquired a pen and ink drawing by Durer, "Christ as Han of Sorrows," hitherto unknown and nowhere described in the literature on this artist. Two-thirds of tho cost were defrayed by gifts from twelve .subscribers, including tho Durer Society. Trie drawing was bought by tho late Mr. Frederick Locker, afterwards LockerLampson, at the HeWoh sale, Berlin (1885),
