MOTOR LAUNCH CAPSIZED
(f ;.. TWO MEN DROWNED. By Telegraph—Trews Awoelatlon. Auckland, August 6. Two natives rescued from a reef near Apia on July 29 stated that.they were survivors of the motor launch Loline, whioh,- with fifteen pnssengors, broke clown aw] capsized after leaving Apia. Two white men among the passengers were drowned. They were H. J. EMery, secretary to the Deputy Administrator at Savnii, and Dr. Qrevcl, a prominent plr.nt.cr. When the natives left the upturned boat ono man, believed to bo E'llory, v.as astride her. Dr. Grovel was accompanied in the launch by his two little daughters.
