Messrs. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cablegram, from their London office:—At the sales 1675 bales were offered' and about «00 sold. The number of .buyers was much larger than usual. For Australian, skins, good winter's advanced 20(1. to 30(1. per 11).; thick pelted, ljd.'to 204.; incoming and outgoing- winter's, an average of 15(1.; lower descriptions,'4d. to 12(1. skins generally-were higher by_ Bd. to 15(1. per-lb.y-'b'ut were 'somewhat irregular, and a larger quantity were withdrawn from Bale. For, New Zealand ekins, thin pelted good winter's were higher , ou the average by 40d. per lb., and incoming and outgoing winter's by lod. Lower descriptions were sd. to 10d., except for inferior qualities.., .■. .
