GERMANY'S PAYMENTS TO THE ALLIES
A NEW POINT OP VIEW. (Rec. August 6, 0.40 a.m.) New York, August 1. Mr. Baruch,. economic adviser, to the American Peace Delegation, made a slatemeat to the Foreign Relations Committee of the Senate, in. which he said that Gerjuany's reparation was greater than sho can pay, but the Reparations Commission would probably reduce tho sum. Mr. Baruch added that President AVilsqn believed that the United States should not i share in the German pay-ments.—Aus.-N.Z; Cable Assn.
