NATIONALISATION OF INDUSTRIES
A REMARKABLE DECLARATION. London, August 2. Tho Federation of British Industries, which has a membership of 18,000 firms, whose capital totals 5000 millions, has, after investigation by a committee, issued a remarkable declaration against nationalisation. Instead, the federation recommends the system of Whitley councils, enabling the workers to havo the fullest voice in detonuining their conditions uf employment.
