It is understood thnt a Masterton resident, who recently returned from active service, has bought the farm at West Masterton belonging: to Mr. B. Lumley. At Alton (Taraimlii) one night recently (says an exchange) a cow, belonging to Mr. W. Green, gnvc birth to a calf without less. The calf was well formed.in every respect, except that it had no sign whatever of legs.
