, $. BOY'S OPINION OP PEACE TEA PKOPOSAL. Is tho present day boy of 7 too blaso to appreciate peace celebrations in the form of a tea aud medal? A boy who took pains to give his ago as i y<*rs and 11 months, and appeared to bo more interested in birthday celebrations than in a more matter of peace, _ was asked for his opinion on this question. It appeared at once (says tho "Daily New ) that there were leas and tea, and that everything depended on tho. particular composition of the te.i proposed bv the Lambeth Council. Asked for his idea of a suitable peace tea, tho boy gave it as his opinion that it should include: • Cako with sugar icing on tho top. Cake with cherries inside. Strawberries and cream. Ices—big ones and pink. Cake with almonds on tho'top. Cako with sugar icing all round. Rweots-all sorts. Ho was also quite clear that it should not include: Grown-up people. Schoolmasters or mistresses. People who say you nuisnt eat too much. People who say cako is bad for little People who say thick bread and butter is good for little, boys. People who say: You can bo sick.
