ALANr VESSELS HELD UP. (Rec. August 1, 7.35 p.m.) ' London, July £9. There ifl grcat congestion at TilbuM docks. Numbers of vessels have bow held up for over a fortnight ..awaiting berths, including e<nio from' Australasia, The congestion in the warehouses is equally-bad,-all storage accommodation being choked. Goods and wool at present, being unloaded must wait in the open owing to the lack of covering. Sir Auckland Geddes, in tho House of Commons, stated that all action possible to remove the congestion, was being taken.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
