Sen-ice from August -1, 1914, to i\ovomber if, 1918. says: Our losses in the army zones were 191 a pilots and observers killed. U6l missing whoso death is certain, and 2922 wounded In the inferior wno the losses were W7 pilots and observers killed and wounded. The total number of airmen in flic French Aviation ■ Service on December J, 191S, was 19,219.
