DEATH FROM EXPOSURE
FISHERMAN'S TRAGIC END. by Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, August 1. , "An unusual fatality occurred in thd Gulf resterday. Two. mullet fishers, Denholm Gillespie, and Albert Wiseman, were fishing near Three Sisters group of islands—Wiseman was in tho. dinghy of a launch hauling in a not when a gust of wind cnussd the launch io drag her anchor and drift down the harbour. Gillespie, who is not a skilled mechanic, was left,alone on the launch, and was unable to start the engine. The launch, drifted aw.-.y from the spot where -Wiseman was fishing. Early • this morning Captain Goldie, of the Salvation Army launch Oraiiga left Koloroa Island, and about half an hour later saw tho launch with the man on board' waving for help. The Oraiiga went alongside, and the survivor informed the captain that the dinghv witli Wiseman aboard'had flonled down the harbour.' The Oraiiga took the launch in low, and almost .immediately picked up llio dinghy, which was full of water and contained the dead bodv of Wiseman. Wiseman. was a, married man. It is supposed he died of exposure
