SUDDEN DEATH

&u inquest was held by the Coroner, Mr. W. G. Uiddell, S.M., at Hie courthouse yesterday on a single woman named Margaret Mary 'Smith, aged 68 .year's, who died suddenly at her home No. 6 Moir Street ou Thursday last. The deceased rose early on Thursday morning to go to church, and, feeling : tired on lier return, laid down for a rest, islio appeared to be quite normal and in good health, but as she failed to .answer a call at'lunch time investigations were made, and she was found to bo dead.. ' Senior-Sergeant Kelly conducted the inquiry. , ~ , Dr. Kingion T-'.vffc, who hold «. post mortem examination, said that the cause, of death was heart disease. Marv Casey, residing at No. 6 Moir Street',' paid thai deceased-had lived with her for the past three months, and enjoyed fairly good health. Witness last saw deceased alive at about 1V.30 a.m. on Thursday, when she appeared to bo quite well.* She found deceased lying dead on her 'bed at about noon. Constable J. Gnnn gave formal evidence. .... , A verdict was returned m accordance wilb the medical testimony.
