« FORECAST AND SUMMARY . AT\4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are for variable winds with'westerlies and southcrlics pi-edom-inating, but increasing southerlies are likely everywhere after about 24 hours, the barometer rising Mien. Expect unsettled weather with much mist and fog, rain generally and enow on the higher levels in the south; colder conditions following. Dull, misty and wet weather lias ruled and the rainfall has been heavy in purls. The wind has decreased generally in force and south-easterlies have veered to bomhwcsterlies and westerlies sinco Thursday evening.
