A SHOCK TO GERMANY
ALLIED DEMAND FOR HUGE COAL . ' SUPPLIES. (Rec. July 31, 9.45 p.m.) ■ Berlin, July 26 (delayed). It is stated that the Allies have notiliod Germany that they require the immediate delivery of huge quantities of German coal, in accordance with the- Treaty tonus. This demand lias caused consternation in the German Government, which has pleaded that it would provoke Bolshevism. The Allies have replied that they know how to deal.with that.— "The, Times."
