SOLDIERS AND POLITICS

By Telegraph—Pross Association. Auckland, July 30. A general meeting of the Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association, attended by about 500 members, decided practically unanimously to endorse the now political platform embodying the party action recently framed by tho Provincial Committee. A resolution was passed in favour of the New Zealand constitution being amended to permit of political action, and asking that a- special New Zealand conference be called to consider the platform as endorsed by the meeting.
