HORSE TRAINER FOUND DROWNED By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, July 30. The body of John Chaat'e, jun., was found floating in the harbour to-day.. Deceased was a well-known Auckland trainer, and was a son of the veteran trainer Mr. John Chaafo; who is now stationed at Hawko's Bay. He leaves a wife and three children. 'B* Telegraph—Press Association. . Eltham, July 30. A fatal motor accident occurred at Eltham this afternoon. Two cars collided, and ono containing T. M'Queen, Mrs. Frances Helen M'Sweenoy and ■ her daughter, Mrs. • J. Potts, capsized. Mr. M'Queen and- ■ Mrs. Potts were thrown clear, but Mrs. M'Sweeney, who was pinned underneath the' car, sustained serious internal injuries and died an hour later. Mrs. M'Sweeney was G5 years of age. Theother car was not damaged. ELDERLY MAN LOST IN A RIVER, ay Telegraph—Press Association Dunedin, July 30. A married man named Egbert Sainsbury, aged 81 years, residing at Queenstown, apparently met his death some days ago by falling iuto the Shotovor River at Skipper's,' near Queenstown. while endeavouring to remove soino sheep from the edge of a precipice. Search has been made for the 'body, but so far it has not been recovered.
