NEW DEMOCRATIC FLAVOUR AT RECEPTION. London, July 25. Ten thousand war workers attended a garden party at the invitation of tho Royal Family. 'The' occasion provided' the. liveliest spectacle in the history of Buckingham Palace. The crowd mingled with. society penole, and included exmunition workers, nurses, waitresses, policemen. Salvation Army girls, and municipal dignitaries. Somo of the workers were provided with new top hats and tailcoats, and the women wore the latest fashions—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
