RAILWAYMEN'S WAGES

The Auckland branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants passed a motion urging its executive to demand increased wages of 2s. 6d. per day in consequence of the. increased cost of living, nlso condemning tho proposal to establish compulsory military training camps.
