Douglas Wilbour Shires, a child two years of age, was found dead in bed at B.3ft a.m. yestordny. He had beon sleeping with his.grandmother, and at 5 a.m. ho had not appeared to bo seriously ailing, though.it was .known that ho was fiuli'ering from a slight ooild. Dr. Gilmer was called in, but as he had not. seen the child while it was alive, he could not give a certificate as to thi cause of death. An inquest will therefore bo hold. The parents of the deceased child livo at 7H Epuni Street.
