DIRIGIBLE ON FIRE
THE CHICAGO TRAGEDY. (Rec. July 28, 1.30 a.m.) New York, July 22 (delayed). The dirigible that took fire and fell at Chicago (its previously reported) was flying over the centre of the business quarter of the city. The burning wreck crashed through the skylight of a bank building, killing eight people, mostly women, and seriously injuring three others. Three members of the dirigible's crow were burned to death. The others landed safely by parachutes-Aus.-N.Z. Coble Assn.
