TROUBLE AT THE TRAMWAYS POWER-HOUSE
4 TWO STOPPAGES ON SATURDAY. The tramway services of the city were held up for some twenty minutes between 3 n.nii and 3.30 p.m., and again from 9.20 p.m. until 9.10 p.m. on Saturday,' on account of low steam pressure in one of • < tho boilers at the tramways power-house. The alleged cause of the trouble was tho poor Quality of tho coal that was being used. A great many of the general public wero inconvenienced by tho stoppages, particularly in the evening, when a great number of people who had t been in town wero desirous of reaching 'their homes in tho outlying districts.
