Present indications arc for strong and equally southerly winds in and northwards of Cook fitrait, and moderate to strong southerly to westerly winds elsewhere. Further cold and changeable weather is probable generally 'n the northern and Bast Coast districts of the North Island and about Poveaux Strait, Barometer rise, but failing in the south shortly. High atmospheric pressure has ruled uver tho South Island, btfS a depression located north-eaet of the Dominion has been responsibln for showery conditions along tin: East Coast of the North Island, cold, changeable weather generally.
