At a meeting of the Executive of the New Z&t'.and Hockey Association, .tho Nelson Association forwarded a challenge tor the shield, and applied for a date for a match against tho holder (Wellington). It was decided to reply, that a match would be arranged if possible for tile Nelson team, but there wero d.ready four challenges ahead of Nol,son.
It was decided that tho opinion of the various associations should be sought on tho .adviSableness of holding an interisland match this season or next.
A challenge from the Feilding Association for the Nordon Cup was received.

A special mooting of the New Zealand Hockey Union was held to-night to consider an application for affiliation from tho Feilduig. Association, After considerable discussion tho application was granted,, the territory unaer tho control of the new association to embraco Hangitikei, l'ohangiua, Kiwitea, /ind.lhat part oi 1 the Oroua Cuunty north of the Oroua lUver. It was dccided that the boundaries should:be reconsidered at tho New Zealand Association's annual meeting.
INVITATION TO ENGLISH AND AUSTRALIAN- TEAIS.

Tho New Zealand Hockey Association lias written to the English Hockey Association and to the New South Wales- Hockey Association • asking if there was any likelihood of English aud Australian teams touring the Dominion in 1920. So far no replies have been received to tho invitation.
