A report from Vienna, states tlmt Bela Kun's attempt to negotiate with the Allies has split the Soviet Directorate. A faction, led by Szamuely, has seized the most important of the barracks and established a dictatorship; and Bela Kun is isolated and virtually a prisoner.— "The Times."

VAST RUSSO-HTJNGARIAN MACHINERY.
London, July 21. The "Daily Telegraph's" Milan correspondent states that Hungary and Russia have established a vast machinery for international corruption. The correspondent gives instances of emissaries, mostly with German names, with millions of crowns at their disposal, which they; are spending in Italy, France, and Austria in fomenting strikes and disorders.—Aus.-N.Z.
