UNKNOWN WRECK ON A TONGAN REEF
(Rec. July 22, 8 p.m.) Sydney, July 22., The barquontine Echo, from Columbia River, reports sighting a wrock on Beveridge Reef, in the Tongan Group when passing on June 21. The hull was painted black. Most of tho rigging was gone, and there was no sign of life. It vis believed that tho wreck is that of an American vessel en route to Tonga to load copra. The wreck has been on the reef for some time.—Press Assn.
