VATION. . , New York, July 17. ■ : The Winnipeg correspondent of the .'"New York' Times" reports that the .Canadian Council of Agriculture lias received' reports indicating' that half a million cattle in Southern Alberta are on the verge of starvation owing to a continued drought,, which has destroyed all the pasture. It is propo-Jed to transport the cattle to Northern Alberta or Northern Mantioba, where there havebeen adequate rains, and feed, is plentiful— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Aesn.
