INCREASE DURING THE WAR. (Kee. July 20, 5.5 p.m.) . New York, July 12. Tho Treasury Department at Washington learns that the German gold supply increased from 298,000.000 dollars at the beginning of the war to 539,000,000 at the end of 1918. Tho sum was decreased in May. 1919, by 122,000,000, representing reparations to Belgium and Rumania, and expenditures on purchase of food.—Aue.N.Z. Cablo Asan.
