Illingvrorth (Postmastcr-Genernl) slated that in 1913M tho profits totalled .£5,222,000, and in 1918-19 .-66,500,000, a record, ft is estimated that the deficit for 1319-20 will be .£2,000,000, which is <hm to bonuses and higher wages.
