Coast-dwellers at Cromer saw. a glare, in the sky, and a burning tass fall into the sea. Airship wreckage' has been washed ashore at Shcriugkam. A coastal airship, with twelve of a crew, from pulhaui, is missing. It is believed to have been struck by lightning—Aus.N.Z. C'a'blo Assn. Later. N.S. 11 was struck by lightning and the crew of twelve were lost.—Aus.-N.Z, Cable Assn. (Eec. July 7, 0.45 a.m.) London, Julv 16. It is confirmed that airship N.5.1l was blown up in Norfolk.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. BRITAIN TO INDIA AND SOUTH AFRICA PEIZE OF JlOOfl OFFERED BY "DAILY EXPRESS." . (Eec. July 16, 11.5 p.m.) London, July 16. The "Daily Express" offers a prize of .£IO,OOO for a commercial reliability airship or aeroplane for a return flight from Britain to India and .South Africa, carrying a minimum of one ton. The Australian flight is excluded owing to the Commonwealth's earlier offer. Competitors will to judged on reliability and airworthiness.
