LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

* A TIME FOR SANE_LEADERSHIP Sir,—l am sure Hie lato conference of the Federation of Labour will open the eyes of most people to their aims ami aspirations. Now i 9 the time for those who wish the country to bo run on sane lines, and for the benefit of no one particular class, to organise. Don't leave it until too late—start now. We do not want our country to become a second Australia, where strike -tallows strike. Also, let me warn the returned so-'.diers, among whom I have two sons, not to b& led ,away with fiue speeches, but to think of the actions of a certain section of the community when they were away fighting for their lives and the lives of others. If some of these men had hail their way the country would now ba under Germany. So I say organise, put men in that are brondminded and just. The country as a whole will reap the benefit.-! am, etc., A VOTER.
