INCREASED FREIGHTS ANNOUNCED . London, July 11. Sir Eric Goddes, Ministor of Transport, foreshadows increased railway freights. 110 savs Iho railways must be made to pay, and has prepared a far-reaching scheme of reforms for their economical use. The schomo will eliminato competition, pool the rolling-stock, increaso iho wagou-loads, stnndhrdieo the locomotives, and prevent delays. Similar schemes nro being prepared to deal with docks, roads, and cnnnls. Tho heads of the Departments in the new Ministry of Transport .havo been appointed—Aus.N.H. Cable Assn.
