[Freeman, alleged to be an American 1.W.W., was refused permission to land in America after deportation, and created a sensation in Australia by hungerstriking on the ship from which ho was not allowed to go ashore. As tho result of this actios, and the public agitation which it caused, lie was taken ashore in custody .1
